In the gray area...
« on: October 19, 2006, 10:12:52 AM »
I would expect that if Mr. Olympias are criticized here than I should prepare for crucifixion, but I'm seeking peer evaluation.  I'm a happily married man, so no gay stuff.  I have a passion for bodybuilding and pursuing the freaky look, but fitness modeling creates good income from sponsors etc.  Should I join the legions of meat heads or suffer the 'Frank Sepe' scorn of having potential and going the easier route?

I'm friends with Sepe. Stay or attempt to get on the lean side... chicks dig it, and it cost a whole lot less.

If you're married, there's no point in going the Sepe route, as you can't indulge in the women anyway.

Not sure the money is really worth it, but if you'd rather have it easy than fullfill your potential that's certainly plausible.

For me it'd be a no-brainer.

Sepe's doing a lot better doing the "easy route" than he would if he was "hardcore, bro".

Yes, these are me.  Not even close to Olympia or anything, I know.  I work hard and hear feedback that I could do well as a top amateur bodybuilder, but hear even more positive feedback about looking like a really good athletic build.

Chris Glass,

To achive the freaky look you need muscles. To achieve the fitness look you need line/cuts....You my friend have neither. Just some advice...there are places called 'gyms' they contain heavy wieghts that you can lift to build 'muscle'..there is you starting point..off you go...

hahahaa, the freaky look?

man, you look average at the most.

not even anywhere near the fitness look or so called swimmer physiques.

You have to be a gimmick.

If 'gimmick' means too good to be true, then trust me 'I'm not that good'.  I'm not looking to be slammed or to brag, but rather to consult the masses on best suggestions based on the pics presented.

Wow, DK that's seriously messed up.  I'm actually sponsored by MHP, The Kingsmill Division of Anheiser Busch, XS Energy, Trident Chewing gum, Rip Curl, Hair Cuttery Corp., and a local restaurant Taco Mexicali.  I'm tryin' to make a little bit of side money and you're just whalin' on me... Sorry dude

Who told you you could be a top amateur?
