need some volume control

hey everyone
I was wondericng, If i need to lower my volume. right now,  I'm train more in a high volume style. I do at  15 sets (5 movements and 3sets). I 've read that many of the pro bodybuilders really only do around  12 sets.  is 15 per big bodyparts too much in your view??

I think that would depend on a couple of factors. How long have you been training? What does your body respond best to? How many warm up sets are you doing? What rep range? Ive found that your set range to be pretty good for most of the body, although I pefer a 'couple' more sets for bis and tris. I know others who lift very heavy and keep the volume low but weight high. It all comes down to noticing how your body is responding and that comes with time in the gym and trying different things. I've been serously training for three years now.  I usually  use six to eight reps,but most of the time its as many as i can get pump out. i do two werm up for the first movement then do a  feel st (werm up) for the second movement.. i do get a great pump and i do grow. but, i think its bc i eat more calories then i use to.

this is my split right now
mon chest/abs
tu legs
wed off
wed shoulders/calves
fri back/traps
sat arms/foreams

I would recommend all natural trainers to try moderate volume (9-12 total working sets per workout).

Also, try alternate between light, medium and heavy workouts. This way you will be able to train really heavy.

It really is true: To train real heavy, you have to back off the weights every so often.
