Days off
« on: February 14, 2007, 08:20:59 PM »
I know that everyone says that you should take a full week off every two months or so, but I was wondering, what if you took only one body part off a week... Say for instance
Mon-back                      then come back the next week and take back off and keep the rest the same... would you get the
Tues-Chest                   same effect??
Wed- Arms
Thurs-Legs
Fri-Shoulders
Sat & Sun- off

it doesnt work that way. the reason behind the week off, is to just rest. working out puts more stress on your body then anything else. who really says you need a week off?? if you feel good then train. but if your getting burnt out then yes

Cut down on the weights and tire yourself doing some aerobic maybe?   That way you've done some exercise and its not as hard on the system as weight training
It hasn't helped...

will do, thanks...the reason why I'm over training is cause I'm on holidays, have had 2 months off went on vacation for a week then spent the rest of the week hitting the iron, I'm at the gym so much the personal trainers ask me if I'm doing a COMP soon.
