This would be a step foward... sure it would be small and underground but i think it would really take off in the bb community. Plus it would get newspaper coverage, magz, etc.

Well, anythings worth a try, best of luck to ya.  If you do try it, make sure you appeal to the parents of these kids and emphasize that its a 'physique contest' as opposed to 'bodybuilding'.  They need to see it as a way for their kid to get fit and healthy.

About a College bodybuilding league where colleges could send bodybuilders to represent their university and see which one wins. Honestly, if gymnastics or some of these other small sports can make it into the universities agenda why not bodybuilding?

bodybuilding could never be a viable sport in any circuit, let alone at a college level.  i have to believe that the colleges wiould never invest in something that could so easiily result in multiple law suits or an investigation.  just consider how many things could go wrong if there were college sanctioned contests; the issues of drug testing and drug related injury or death would be imminent.  because of the extreme drug usage which has become engrained in this sport, the potential range of the "sport" is limited.

Poker is on ESPN for instance.

The "E" in ESPN stands for ENTERTAINMENT - it doesn't always have to air a sport. Shit...they have spelling contests on the damn channel.
