Don't take this personal, but if you don't really have an idea of the type of workout you should be doing, what makes you think AAS are the way to go.....it just seems like youre way too amateur to be jumping into AAS

I wouldn't think working out on AAS would be any different than without.  Remember Pumps and Pain make Gains

Use whatever program worked before, or one you feel is working the muscles well now. AAS is not such a huge factor when it comes to training, contrary to popular belief. Think of it as an enhancer to what you that already works well.

I disagree.  It is an enhancer, a BIG enhancer.  If you already have a good base, you'll have a great physique after a well-designed cycle.  If you lift good weights then you will lift great weights.  Intensity, poundages, drive and overall size increase dramatically with AAS usage.

Mostly true and all beside the point of his question, which had to do with the program itself. His program will work whether on or off IMO, in answer to the question.

As far as having a "great physique" afterwards, there are basically 3 groups. Those who:

-Gain some
-Gain little
-Gain a lot ie Schwarzenegger and other top BBs. Extreme responders.

pumpster i hope you mean there's 3 groups to the category of those who know what they're doing. cuz even as a nattie i see guys who obviously have no clue about aas but use em anyhow. in the catergory of those who know what they're doing we'll go with ur 3 groups it makes great sense after all. as for the group who has no idea there's a few groups as well,

the kind who gain a ton then lose it all plus some when they go off
the type who gain none while on and only end up bloated and full of acne
then those who go on lift every now and then thinking that they'll be huge and only end up killing their kidneys

Thanks for the information.  I am a newbie to this forum and AAS; however, I have been training naturally for over 28 years, I am 45.  I have made some good gains over the years raising my bodyweight from 135 at 18 to 213 at of  last month.  I have read and hear so much controversial info regarding volume training while on AAS.  After about 26 years of lifting I finally learned that I had been overtraining all of those years by doing too much volume.  When I started the 5x5 routine I made significant gains in strength, size and weight.  I was merely asking what set and rep range seems to work best with AAS.  I realize that  everyone is different but I am sure there is a general rule to training while on AAS.  I don't want to overtrain while on AAS and not maximize my strength and mass potential.

Thanks

I don't really change my routine when on or off. But that's just me. The only difference is I can lift more & longer.
