Give it up, Genetics are over rated, look what Milos was able to do with Gustavo, giving him a 3rd place finish at the Olympia, it's all about the steroids.

Yeah I would agree with you there,
From about 19-27 I was eating around 7000 cals a day. and still remained within single digit body fat levels. gaining size took a while because my metabolism was so fast.

At one point I was drinking 2 gallons of whole milk a day, plus the 1/2 gallon of ice cream, plus a pound of red meat, bread, oats, etc.. basically non stop eating. I remember walking around with canolla oil and drinking shots of that throughout the day...nasty.

Now I eat less, but I still eat ice cream every day along with candy.

How many calories above maintenance? Well it took 7000+ cals for me to get up to 225lbs. or so, now I weigh 205lbs and eat around 4000 cals a day, sometimes more.
bullshit.

bullshit.

I don't think people eat half of what they claim. Do you guys have any idea what 7k plus cals look like a day? hell even 4k cals a day of food looks like? IT'S RIDICULOUS! TO make 5-6k you'd be eating all the time but 7? Unless you're always walking around with a monster taco salad for a snack, I don't think so scooter!

junk food vs clean food..:

you need to eat more calories than you burn per day. if you only need 2500 calories a day to be over maintaince level, it can be done with clean food. if you need to eat 6500 calories a day to maintain your lean muscle mass...then obviously it can be a smart thing to add in junk food or you will have be jay cutler obsessed and eat every hour.  ::)

Eating clean can be done up to about 3500 to 4k max unless you're like JAY like you said but even then, he picks at his food, he doesn't make it disappear. To get more than that you're right, you've gotta put away the junk food.

He can't gain weight for shit and eats like a pig. Most shredded person I've ever seen. The only person I've ever known to legitemately put down THAT kinda food and still look good.

wicked and sarcasm: the numbers i gave where only examples to illustrate that if you need large amounts of calories of food to maintain muscle mass it can be smart to add in some junk food and if you need like 2500-3000 calories per day it can be done with clean food. its fucking simple..yet people are still discussing this shit.

and yes..sarcasm some people with active jobs do need 6500 calories per day to maintain lean muscle mass. but if you sit on your ass in an office all you obviously wont need to eat those amounts of food, but i agree alot of people are claiming that they eat more than they do. reverse is true for alot of obese pigs.

sorry man you'll never convince me that even someone with an "active" job needs almost 7,000 calories a day.

forget the exact numbers...i was trying to illustrate when it can be useful for a big bodybuilder to eat junk food.

as for exact amount of calories, i def agree that alot of homos exaggerate their caloric need with the fast metabolism bullshit. also one kilogram of lean muscle added will only increase your basal energy expenditure by small amounts.

but yes in old times, lumberjacks needed huge amounts of calories to have energy to work...thats why they ate alot of fat in their food..because of its caloricdensity....but today most people sit infront of computers so not many people need 6000+ calories.
