Money is not an issue , but you keep talking about the costs?


I would choose 5-6 destinations all over the world.

3-4of them big cities and 2 tropical adventures

or using 4-5days snowboarding in New Zealand and

the rest partying and sightseeing 2days each in Tokyo, Rome, Paris, Hong Kong, Hawaii
London, Spain, Brazil or any place you want to go to, the world is full of beautiful, fun and interesting places.

haha no I only get airfare to one place and back. I'm deploying soon to Afghanistan for a 7 month combat tour. half way through, I get 3 weeks off and the government pays my flight to anywhere in the world and back.

I say money is not an issue because I'll be making a shit load from danger pay and my salary is tax free when I'm over there. that being said, I'd rather save as much as I can for a downpayment on a condo, instead of blowing it on hotels and prostitutes.

West Africa seems nice because the countries are along the coast and seem fairly stable. I'll be pretty exhausted physically and emotionally so I'll want to just relax. Plus it will be winter and I don't want to freeze my ass off in Europe

You're looking to be an ex-pat via condo purchase than Argentina.  Chile and all the other stuff is BS.

Bali is really nice, cheap food, beautiful beaches cheap hotels             
Melasti Beach Resort hotel Bali is only 39USD/night.

If you want to save even more try some 10USD/night Bungalow near the beach in Phuket,
Food is practically free, bring 10books, your mp3player sunblock 20+ buy a some rayban copy sunglasses for 6USD and
you are set for a 3week vacation costing you a total of 500USD including food and hotel.

beware of hotels in togo and ivory coast, terrible with giant bugs in rooms.

senegal was the better of the 3.  culturally evolved with more french spoken more than english.  no need for tour guide and much safer in general.  the slave trade point of departure was senegal.  great restaurants, wine bars and historic attractions. oh and there's a clubmed resort in senegal.

One amusing thing might happen to you, well my girl thought it was hilarious.
I was a ranger in the army many years ago, many of the hotels at the beach
bomb away with huge fireworks out of nowhere sometimes.

Before I got used to them I dove down in the sand, seeking cover (damn that habit)  every time the
