I have an opportunity to travel anywhere in the world for free this December

for the three weeks I can stay in that country or continue travelling, though I have to pay for my own food and accomodations

money isnt an issue, but I'd still rather not spend too much

I'm thinking about West Africa (Ghana, Senegal, maybe even as north as Morocco) but I'm still not sure

If it were a three week break I would probably choose somewhere like Northern/Eastern Australia and possibly the French Polynesian Islands thrown in for good measure. Alterntively I would travel across America and/or Canada.

I suppose it depends where you live but I wouldn't choose anywhere in Africa.

3 weeks? Depends on what you like. Brazil & beachs = boring, the night life isnt good. Argentina? Great food, nightlife is A W E S O M E, not too many "historical" bullshit to visit during the day but who wants to visit such

China? My favorite for sure, but not during december unless you go to the south but you really dont wanna spend your time @ shenzhen or guangzhou, too boring and not that impressive unless you love electronics.

Shanghai? Cold but its as good as argentina, night life is great, i expect 2 weeks of night clubbing next september, along with my wife, it will just gonna cost us$ 8k

puerto madero is nice...

but COPACABANA kills argentinean crappy weather...

yeah.. its also kinda cloudy at rio allmost all of the times i have been there... but totaly kills buenoa aires...

beach and? night clubbing in brazil is not awesome + its full of homosexuals and trannies. Night life in argentina start at 2 am and end at 11 am. How could it be bad?

a lot of guys are going to Thailand to mess around or rent a family

Japan would be cool but I would end up dropping a tonne of coin on hotels

I hear Lebanon has a great nightlife plus their food and women are top-notch

Well it ain't really free son as you gotta pay for food and lodging. You got a free flight.
I'd got to Thailand and Vietnam/Cambodia as you can seriously enjoy yourself and eat a great meal for the price of a box of matches - if you stay out the tourist traps in Bangkok.
