i think david henry has "promoted" himself more behind the scenes than steve.

Truth. It's really not about the best physique. Often it's so close at this level. I think Steve is better than David but they are both great and then it's almost a coin toss and personal preference. At this level then it's about networking, getting known, marketing yourself, trying to develop relationships with the judges. Dave's the bigger name. It sucks. But it seems like it's always been like that. That's how Arnold won in 1980, Dorian won with half a bicep, Ronnie won in 2001 and how Jay won last year. They're the bigger name.

I don't know where Steve lives but it would help if he were in Southern Cali. Train at Gold's and meet the photographers and get in the mags. How else does Putnam get his face plastered all over the place when he's not even in Steve's league? Then once you get a name and win then you can move to Vegas or where ever and live your life.

I mean, I've never really heard of Steve except on this board and when I look at the guy and see what he must put himself through to get in that kind of condition it must suck to be place so unfairly low. Sometimes I wonder how this sport survives.

Tampa 202 was stacked though... Horvath, Jackson were both very very good.  Tricky's posing brought the place down, and horvath was big.

Flex Lewis has the crowd loving him, and legs better than David Henry.

David Henry's upper body was 4-dimensional though... nobody was touching him.

If Flex and Henry jump to heavyweights when they stop letting guys do the crossover, Namat could be top 3 in the 202s.

Also IIRC, his posing very professional and tight, but nothing fun and exciting.
