Bailout Vote breakdown, guess who didn't vote.

I don't think they should be voting on this now.  a couple weeks to hear from more people and make sure the plan is absolutely correct is way better than rushing a plan where the outcome can fuck us either way.  I thought we learned this lesson from the patriot act but I guess not...  It's not just these two sucking for not voting, it's majority of both parties sucking.

I agree with both of the preceding statements. Both parties got us here and both parties are fucking us. The democrats fear that if they do nothing then they wont get re-elected so even though they dont need the repubs name on the bill, they feel they have to get them on it so if it blows up in their face it wont be just them out to dry and the repubs who also didnt do jack about this for years are trying to polish a turd.

I think most people want three things.  1. identify the problem's pathway and pass the correct laws and reforms to eliminate the problem from happening.  2. take a few weeks to make sure the adjustment made is the correct one. 3. put some accountability in place for these corporations--we have to pay a price when we fuck up, they should too, especially since a corporation is a "person" and all lol.

Yeah, I just heard it. He says "Yes" twice to the question of will you support the bailout, but it's really quick and it's so obvious he doesn't look like he knows what he's saying yes to, so he changes the subject and actually had the balls to say that he warned us about Fannie and Freddie! Thats is an out right lie. He never said anything of the sort, ever. What integrity.

This guy is fundamentally stupid.  Again, mixes a few good points to gain credibility then claims the world will be better off if the US "economy collapses".

Hey, you want to let the US economy collapse NO PROBLEM, but to think the world economy will better off because of it, is to completely ignore macro economics. 

Don't give me more BS about how 20 years from now the world economy will be better either (for the collapse), that is Nostradamus type stupidity.

Gain credibility? hahahaha The guy is light years ahead of everyone when it comes down to this situation. He 's been predicting this for years and has videos up on youtube to back him from 2006, during that time his colleges laughed at him on TV shows. Seriously, they laughed in his face. If I was him I'd be reminding them ever 5 seconds who was right, he's even modest enough not to do just that.
