ok he made a pro bowl or two
Actually, he made 4 Pro Bowls, but who's counting.
yancey thigpen made two pro bowls, is he comparable to terrel owens too? do you even know who yancey thigpen is lol?
TO is a lock for the hall of fame and he already has phenominal numbers, he is 2nd all time in td's and unlike THE UNWANTED keyshawn his numbers will grow
Yes, I do know about Yancey Thigpen. Of course, Owens' numbers will grow. He's still playing, while Keyshawn is RETIRED. And, among the reasons Owens is still playing.....HE STILL DOESN'T HAVE A RING; Keyshawn does, period.
Key has half the tds TO has, how is that comparable? and the lack of offense the bucs had says a lot about the team not being able to depend on Key to make the big plays, he wasnt that kind of player he was a large slow possession receiver who would go across the middle and block...a great role player.
Last time I checked, TDs aren't the only stats for receivers. The fact that Johnson once made the Pro Bowl, with just ONE TD, is a prime example of that. Keyshawn has made plenty of big plays, which is why he has the numbers he had. Again, check the stats from 1996 to 2006. TDs is the only categories where Key significantly trails Owens.
For Keyshawn to have such numbers, while spending a BIG part of his career on a team hardly known for offense, shows that he's a great player. As for the TDs, I explained that earlier (at least, with respect to his tenure in Tampa Bay). The BUCS leading TD scorer was MIKE ALSTOTT. Inside the 5-yard line, everybody knew #40 is getting the nod, especially since the BUCS won over 76% of their games when the A-Train scores a TD.
Keyshawn moved the chains, blocked well, and (most of all) DOESN'T GET BUTTERFINGERS IN THE PLAYOFFS (unlike T.O.). And, there the little matter of that shiny ring that Key has.
