The entire WCW/ECW invading WWE angle was horrendously executed.  They blew the biggest potential moneymaking PPV of all time with their lame storylines.

Heyman had the best ideas, but he had shit for business acumen.
After the ECW acquisition the old man should have tried letting Paul E. do the booking with WWF handling the finances.
IOW, keep ECW a “separate” entity as it is now; just have Heyman do all the writing, etc. and keep it like the original ECW.

I don’t know that Vince could do that, though. He usually likes to take an already good thing and change it a bit - enough to make it his despite what it might do.

Too bad.
I still wonder what it would’ve been like to have Heyman’s vision with the powerhouse WWF’s management backing it.
