MattT making fun of another guy by calling him gay is the funniest thing I've ever read on Getbig.  Pot, meet kettle.

Oh, and I get my cardio by riding my bike around Dubai.

Matt , be honest bro.You could do no cardio but still be lean depending on your drug/thermo intake.

I agree with Will, there are a ton of guys that do minimal cardio and take thermos and minipulate thier carb intake to stay leaner during thier off season but as you know off season is more for building mass and I wouldn't sacrifice good size gains just to stay in near-contest shape year around otherwise you risk looking the same year to year and not really progress. I am of the opinion that cardio is a must if you use AAS just to keep cholesterol and blood pressure in check. I don't know if you train natural or use "gear" but it sounds like the 2 days a week approach isn't too bad of a start provided you know what your base caloric intake needs are to still make gains. You have an outstanding physique bro, best of luck.

you say not to do cardio in the offseason "unless" we're trying to get down to low bf% 4-5%?  Isn't that what all bbers want to get down to bf wise?.  So then in fact you're actually saying in order to come in truly lean 4-5% bf offseason cardio should be done?

Yes GH is a man of many inconsistencies.  Offseason cardio is fine, 3-4 30 min low intensity will do you fine.  Control most of your body composition with diet I do agree.  During a prep I will do just 30 Min's a day also maybe 5-6 times a week.  I always wonder why some people I talk to end up doing 2 hours of cardio a day, seems nuts to me.

Exactly!, doing cardio year round will help condition my legs, keep them harder,

The "condition" of your legs is NOT the problem  ::)

No offense Matt, you've got an awesome physique...but when I hear your work ethic through your posts, I can't help but think, "damn, what a waste of good genetics"  :-\  (in terms of bodybuilding, that is  ;D )
just not good enough

i dont think bodybuilders should do cardio offseason or on season unless trying to get down to very low body fat% as in 4-5% true 4-5%

2 sessions a week wont hurt you ,,what you need to do is bring up those legs by any means possible so you can place well in nationals and get professional card,,hopefully your legs wil respond well

gh said he doesn't believe in doing cardio at all ("offseason or on season") unless trying to get down to 4-5 % bf.  Meaning he only recommends it during contest prep.

For the 1st time im doing cardio with my offseason training, just 20 min 2 times per week.  I just started my offseason diet last week.  Im 178lbs my goal this offseason is to only get up to 195lbs instead of the normal 215-220lbs fat ass i usually get to.

If you want to stay at lower bodyfat while bulking, the caloric surplus must be reduced. If that is done by doing cardio or eating less is irrelevant IMO.

caloric deficit (resp. smaller surplus), high protein, and heavy training is all you need

You can get as lean as humanly possible without the use of ANY fatburner (including t3 , clen , ephedrine and even gh in there)

Just makes it easier , quicker and let you hold on to more of your muscle.

Agreed.

The dark colours makes it appear to be a very depressing and uninviting kitchen.
