barbell rows vs t-bar
« on: February 01, 2010, 11:29:21 AM »
I'm kind of worried about my lower back doing barbell rows.
Are T-bar rows a good enough replacement?

Thanks

if your able to get yourself to lift with equal intensity on a t bar row as you would on a barbell row, then it can be just as effective of a mass builder. alot of people go lighter because its not traditionally considered a heavy weight exercise. which is a big mistake. every exercise should always be done with full intensity.

Ideal world, both should be part of a back workout. I'd say they were a good enough replacement. They were always my favourite back movement. The gym i train at got rid of the t-bar set up, i just don't get the same benefit from the barbell/v-bar set up.
