You dropped 2% bodyfat? You actually tested it before your stay at the hospital?
What kind of test did you use originally? If the tests are acurate, you lost close to 4 lbs. of fat. The question is: "How much muscle did you lose?"
Why would a trainer randomly tell you that 20% is something to shoot for? 20% is still leaves 36 lbs. of fat on a 180 lb. body. In that case, losing ANY percentage is good.
This is a bodybuilding forum, so in the context of bodybuilding, I would advise a percentage of around 10%--that way, you can probably see your abs. 12% ain't bad either, but considering that bodybuilders compete in the low single digits, staying very low in the double-digits would make good sense in the "off-season"
I would rather lose the bodyfat by exercise and diet than hospitilization and illness.
