First off dickhead, she doesn't know how much the thing cost, unless she gets it appraised, but whatever.  The ring is mostly for me, call it insecurity or whatever, but it's just like having a nice car, house or whatever.  She makes great money, I do well for myself, it didn't break the bank, so  :-\it's no big deal.  Now, if she didn't work, and I was broke, then that would be a different story, but it's not the case here.  I guess to each his own.
