So Obama having made the countries around us happier and killing the nr. one enemy(s) of our nation is NOT succefull foreign policy
What is your definition then?
Youre missing the point.
Other countries view the US and Obama as being weak - with no respect.
Of course theyre going to like us more if they think our leadership is weak.
OBL has nothing to do with foreign policy. Agencies came to Obama, said we found him, heres a plan, can we go?
He said yes. (He had no choice, if he said no, it would have come out and he would have been crucified)
I look at successful foreign policy having to do with who recieves foreign aid and for what - Building mutual respectful and beneficial relationships with other countries, not just running around the world and groveling at countries feet and promising them what they want because you dont want to be not liked.
Obama fails on all counts - way to much frivolous foreign aid, and way to much pandering to countries we shouldn/dont need to(Look at Obama's talks in South America, promising them we want to be their biggest customer of oil, while preaching to the american public about decreasing dependence on foreign oil. Not to mention denieing drilling permits to companies here at home - yeah great job decreasing our dependency on foreign oil obama.)
Id much rather be respected by other countries and maybe not be as universally liked, than have everyone like us because they think were weak and can be manipulated.
