the choices for his excuses are:

1. An over the counter supplement that was tainted.
2. A candy bar that was contaminated.
3. Cold medicine?
4. He accidentally took his wife's birth control.

as silly as these sounds these are the common excuses used.

if they really want to take PED out of the game why not test all palyers at the same time out of the blue? because that's how it works, once in a while they get a scapegoat so the show can go on and people think "ha the bad guy is now out of order" even if the whole league is on steroids and hgh too.
As simple as that.

not that i care what any of these guys do, but they could go further than that if they really wanted to get rid of it. test all the players every month. they can afford it. and while some will beat the tests, not everyone will. states are able to test people on probation on a regular basis, MLB should also be able to. of course samples getting 'accidentally' mixed up, ignored dirty tests, etc., will happn. but this idea of randomly trsting a handfull of players a year is silly. either do it all out, or dont do it at all.

Funny to me how the average fan in this country is too dumb to realize that synthetic test does not get into your body by accident

they dont need a scapegoat, they need to separate themselves from liability, and to do this they have to have a test which to le is legitimate and for this offenders have to pay
