You guys are hard to please. Form is not what I would call great, but it works for Rob. I'd bet there are not many people out there that could do that. One 300lb clean and jerk is alot of work, let alone 30 of them! Pretty crazy if you ask me  :-\

I will venture to say there isn't a man in America that could do 30 reps with 300lbs. The bar isn't bending like it would for an olympic bar. It's impossible to tell the weight with those bumper plates. If you deadlift 500 to 600lbs take a bar loaded with 225lbs and see if you can do 30 reps in the power clean.  I bet you can't.

His clean is sloppy, but that is probably more a function of trying to beat the clock more than anything else.

His Power Jerk style was ok -

The Greek teams were one of biggest propionates of the Power Jerk style-

Yes, you are right, it's not a jerk. The push press is harder than jerk.


Besides having shitty form, it's not even a clean and jerk......it's more like a half-assed clean with a push press. If was an actual clean and jerk, it would be a jerk with a split....clean and split/jerk.....
