I think a lot of people agree - pros included - that Dorian was so far ahead in 1993 that it's potentially the most dominant win in the sport. Ever. Even the likes of Ray, Wheeler and Bannout said as much at the time (let's ignore the sour grapes many years afterwards.)
1995 wasn't much different.
true, but the things people were saying about Ronnie's 2003 win were the same. People were going on about how he was so far ahead that he should retire while ontop.
I look at dorian's 93 win and ronnie's 2003 win in a very similar respect:
1. both 'raised the bar" in terms of mass at the time (BOTH were the heaviest on record at the time : Yates at 257, ronnie at 287)
2. Both were considered to have set a new standard, one that was far above the next nearest competitor.
3. Both sucked the following year.
However, Ronnie is awesome and Dorian is overrated, so that sets them apart
