that is one thing i hate doing and never do it unless i have a training partner (which is very rare , i almost always train alone) is ask for a spot.

I stick to dumbell presses or hammer for chest, any other exercise there is no need for a spotter

its been years since i have benched pressed

maybe thats also why my chest looks like shit  :-\

Probably could`nt do two good reps with 185 !  :D

if i owned a gym i would be on top of that.... because people can injure themselves seriously .....

If that guy had no spotters, the bar would have went right through his ribcage.

All these so called fitness people in gyms today have no clue how to train, and no respect for heavy iron.

Saw a guy try leg pressing 10 plates a side....we had to lift the sled up and drag him out......his knees were up around his ears....looked like he just walked in off the street and tried to lift big iron like it took only one workout to do so.  :D

I don`t bench anymore either.

Smith Inlines,flyes,crossovers,pec-deck,and seated bench machine.....fuck that exercise..........an injury just waiting to happen.

on friday i saw a guy getting his friend to pull 225 of him for 10 reps while he screamed, he then went to 250....
i stepped in and said is it you set let me spot you... he then looked nervous i told him I m not pulling the bar for the first rep... he still went ahead.. rep one... couldnt move ther bar an inch .... trapped i pulled it off him while hlf way up this foolish guy said 3 more ..... i just racked the bar.... and told him you cant get one by yourself and im not doing rows i already did those monday.. he was embarassed

what good is that suppose to do? he didn't go dpwn ower then two inches! there is a guy at my gym he does that same shit with just two plates and he thinks he is the shit! He always leaves his weights on too! such a dick! I just want to knock him out but he is at least 50-55yrs old. I don't want to get charged with beating up a senior citizen.anyway it is frustrating!
