How could you be restricted in using foreknowledge? I just wouldn`t be able to help myself or resist.  They would have to send a Looper after me.

I initially read that as "you could be the township`s banker" which was amusing and then re-reading it as "baker" was doubly amusing. 

Either way I am sure I could railroad everyone and anyone as I see fit.

So Lincoln did what he could to antagonize the south into reacting aggressively.. To give you an idea after Davis was captured and "arrested" he was held in prison for many years.. The north could not bring charges against him since he was duly elected by the confederate states.. He eventually was released after the united states tried to weigh the options of charging with treason amongst numerous other charges.. But none would stick..

 But yes, history and the victors are allowed to write the history books.. And putting a moral and ethical spin on war is paramount to justify their greed.

 Absolutely.. Few people know that.. Nor is it beneficial to teach these things..  One northern newspaper wrote about Lees invasion that led to the battle of sharps burg that he was surprised by the number of black troops under stonewall and lee... Many slaves and freed lack men fought for the south.. And Many southern soldiers had nothing but praise and admiration for them.. Jeff Davis also had a few pictures taken with his family that show a very young black boy that slept and was cared for in his presidential mansion.. Davis considere him part of the family..

I`m not sure.  Everything I have read so far has Lincoln portrayed correctly and shows that aspect as well.  We will have to wait and see.
