You obviously no little about Nietzsche, he claimed that Buddhism is a successful religion that he compliments for fostering critical thought!
He also compliments Christianity for all kinds of things. They were both manifestations of the ascetic ideal for him; in other words, nihilism, the greatest threat to human existence, etc.
Perhaps the people you know are sociopaths like you, hence the reason they couldn't give 1/100th of a shit about dozens of children being brutally murdered while attending school. I think you will find the average citizen is deeply concerned about it, all the way to the president. Not just because of it's sheer senselessness, but because they are avoidable and unnecessary and the result of what happens when special interest groups get too much power!
lol, newsflash bud, neither of us has any significant data to back up our hypotheses. the difference is that i actually live in america and spend my whole day around americans. therefore, what little weight my experience holds is still more than yours! and from my perspective, no one is quaking in their boots over some shooting.
