we have oktoberfests on a yearly basis in my hometown of Columbus Ohio, and in fact there is even a section of my city that is called German Village and there's a great German restuarant there called Schmidt's

Yep, for 2+ years.  Went to THE Oktoberfest twice and probably close to 50 different fests.  We went every chance we had.  I loved Germany.  Great food, great beer and topless uber-chicks at the lake.

Cincinnati, Ohio has the best oktoberfest though, better than Munich... lol
