So I said I would visit him the next time I was in the states. That is when he said, "Bring two 14 year old girls with you." That was a surprise. I suppose he considered such young women to be the ultimate in female attractiveness. I replied that I was already in enough trouble for extra-marital stuff so didn't need any encouraging. My wife at the time was listening in on the other phone line. I just laughed the comment off as coming from an eccentric genius. There is no way I would have followed through with his request. It was just a comment to shock me and my wife. He knew she was listening in because I told him. So there you are. Don't try making anything out if it. Arthur died before I had a chance to visit him.
