Dry joints
« on: June 25, 2013, 05:53:44 AM »
It feels like my joints are dry but I'm not even on anything. I guess even naturals can have dry joints but what can you do to remedy them?

I asked here because I figured this board would know most about dry joints.  ;)

start drinking more water and take Omega-3's and also start eating alot of salmon and taking salmon oils. MSM will help out as well as long as you buy a good brand of MSM and don't give up on it take it for months and see if your joints feel better. I like the MSM that also has shark cartiledge in it. Some creatines help. I prefer waxy starch maize(Vitargo). If you pre-load vitargo it really does make you feel stronger and get you to hold a little water wich will make your joints feel a little better. any substance that causes you to hold a little water will make your joints feel a bit better. That is why Deca is know for helping peoples joints it is mainly because deca makes you hold water in the right spots and you feel stronger and have way less of those dry pains. The safest way is to just start drinking more water and work on your diet increasing your salmon intake and fish oil intake.

Thanks for the response. I got some fish oil caps, not sure about the salmon part, not a big fan of seafood.

I hate seafood myself but swallowing some fish oil and some salmon oil isn't as bad as eating it. It sucks because some of the healthiest foods are seafood! Herring fillets are the best food you can eat. They pack the most natural creatine and are the #1 most anabolic food but I can hardly stomach the shit! NO lie though seafoods are great for the joints.

A good creatine or waxy starch maize(vitargo) will make you retain a little water wich will make your joints feel a bit better but you have to load it and take it for a few weeks.

I agree with this. Also I notice if your on restricted calories and over training/ borderline over training they hurt too. The only thing I would add to WW solid post is ice and rest, listen to the body. Ice doesn't sound like a big deal but it really helps. You can get ice bags on amazon for like 10 or 15 bucks with the screw on lid that don't sweat. They look just like what they use to put on boxers heads in between rounds in the old days. Worth the money IMO, doesn't get your bed or couch wet like a freezer bag full of ice cubes would either

Yes Ice helps alot! I used to take ice baths! or buy plastic storage totes and just filled them with ice and water and would stick a arm at a time in the platic tote filled with ice water. It really did help!

Get your blood work done and see what your E2 is.  If you have crushed it down to low numbers then you will have dry joints.  Is your skin dry and flaky?  Even a little bit?  Hair dry(ier) and coase(r) than usual.  That is tell tale signs of low E2.

However, if your E2 is normal and you haven't used anything (even prohormones or test boosters) then talk with your doc because it can be something that needs to be monitored.

UDO's oil at 2 table spoons 2-3x a day will make all joint pain disappear.

Fish Oil, Glucosamine, Chondrotin, MSM etc have nothing on UDO's oil. It's a miracle supp.
