Here are a few of the responsibilities.

ROFLAMO that it?  ???  ???

Your average Hotel janitor has more responsibilities than that.

Johnny Falcon works harder every single day than some silver haired pedophile staring at grown men`s black butts every day for just a few weeks a year.

I don't think it is job stress, it is the fact they never stop yelling.  Just yelling, yelling , yelling, putting stress on their bodies.  they pretty much do it to themselves.

Coaches have some insane schedules, but...

They're making 1 or 2 million a year.  $7 if you're one of the best.  If head coaches get fire, most end up being asst coaches...
Avg salary of NFL assistant coach is $350000 to $375000

So no matter how stressful shit is... you're making $1000 to $6000 a DAY to put up with that kinda pressure.  I know college kids that work touch cashier jobs & classes that are probably under just as much stress... and they're broke as shit.

So while it's a highly competitive job, it's just playing a game.  It's personnel & matchups and math & motivation and more... but like TA said, a cop worrying about getting shot for $32,000 a year is sure under more stress than a coach making 30 times that much $$.

NFL is a 12 Billion dollar business...I don't believe it's just playing a game. It's entertainment more so now then the game itself. There isn't a person on the planet that wants to go from making a few million a year as a coach to $300,000 as an assistant...The amount of stress has to be through the roof...Some of these coach's sleep at their workplace 5 days a week and work up to 20 hours a day in some cases...

Ha, yes. I'm sure he does. In between posting about granola and his digestive system on here.

Yes, wondering if can't produce a winning record or make a play off knowing your job is on the line 24/7 isnt stressful at all.

Why are they yelling?  Who are they yelling at?  Why don't they use a megaphone?  Why not just use some sort of communication device?  Whats with the headsets?

NFL coaches are under stress more than any other coaches in Pro sports....there was a documentary on NFL network this summer about what these coaches have to go thru and their preparation.....it's no joke....no wonder some of the former coaches don't wanna go back to coaching and feel comfortable in TV studios instead.....

Jimmy Johnson basically said "fuck it" at a relatively young age and retired to an Oceanside home in south Florida and has never looked back.

And he was one of the highest regarded coaches at that time.
