Mike Katz....Drug Free in 1980 and 1981

I remember Mike Katz from back in the 70's and even then I used to think he was the ugliest-looking professional bodybuilder with an atrocious body structure. That aside, he seemed like a nice guy, at least in the movie pumping iron.

The 1st show I competed at  was the 1978 AAU Mr Eastern Seaboard, promoted by Mike Katz.
I find it credible that he could have been "drug free" in those 1980's contests.
Standing next to him, in person, it was obvious he had the basic structure of a BIG, strong man.
Shaking Mike's hand made me realize just how naturally big and powerful a man he was.

Giant sized strongmen, NFL lineman, pro wrassler's , etc all have a different look to them.
It's simple genetics to be a huge powerful man.

What does size have to do with the dead obvious nature of why he’s NOT drug-free in those pics?

Always thought he would have looked better facially with a beard or something.
