I have always thought so. Even Cutler does this sometimes. Gunter an Ruhl usaly gets it right.

Ya I agree .

Gunter looked a little light at the Pre Judging but looked good at the night show at the O

It is the lighting mostly

If you watched the feed from up top, ie the camera was looking down they were quite bright.

All the pics later on from under then cast them in a totally different light.

Yeah, it definitely reaches the point of overkill, but it still looks better than that Russian bronzing crap.

Sometimes a lot of the pictures posted on flex on line look shite, you can have the same picture taken from someone else and it looks completely different.

Yes, it is just the brightness/contrast which is bad.

Yes.  Way too dark.  One of the reasons this guy looked so out of place at the Ironman is because his color actually looked human.  The contrast between this guy and the other competitors shows you that it is not “just the lighting.”

Martin Kjellstrom in the first pic above is actually a pretty pale guy so for him to come in so dark is ridiculous.

Doom disapproves.

It's not just from the tanning, it's the tren and DNP. It makes everyone's skin Lobster fresh and when you apply a deep tan to that you look like an Indian farmer. Happened to me ugh

Probably not and no way!

this is one of the gayest topic ever.
Fag complaining he can't see "details" on muscular oiled men posing.
I guess you can't see their "package" with enough details.
ok carl cocks  ::) ahah oh brother, what a fag.
You have 5 little posts under your weight belt and you decide to post in what you think is a "gay" thread.    >:(

I believe part of it is the camera settings used, and part of it is the lighting.  The lighting at the Ironman tends to be more dramatic, with what to me appears to be some pretty strong "down" lights, which can lead to some heavy shadows.  So the photographer has to adjust the camera settings and try to come out with photos that are sharp and fairly bright, while not allowing the very bright areas to become over-saturated.  I'm still in the learning mode when it comes to photography, so I can't explain any details.  My photos in general aren't as sharp as the professional photographers' photos, but I think I got the brightness and color correct on my Ironman photos.  Martin Kjellstrom's color onstage (the competitor in the first post and in the attached photo) was pretty close to the photo attached below.
