Dose anyone eles think that some guys come in to shows a little too dark.
This past Olympia DJ and Cutler seemed to dark and At the Iron Man there seemed to be a few that looked to dark.
It it just the pics or the lighting or what.
I believe part of it is the camera settings used, and part of it is the lighting. The lighting at the Ironman tends to be more dramatic, with what to me appears to be some pretty strong "down" lights, which can lead to some heavy shadows. So the photographer has to adjust the camera settings and try to come out with photos that are sharp and fairly bright, while not allowing the very bright areas to become over-saturated. I'm still in the learning mode when it comes to photography, so I can't explain any details. My photos in general aren't as sharp as the professional photographers' photos, but I think I got the brightness and color correct on my Ironman photos. Martin Kjellstrom's color onstage (the competitor in the first post and in the attached photo) was pretty close to the photo attached below.
