I think most people are racist to a degree, even at a low level, not necessarily in a nasty way, but people discriminate on a low level all the time.

Take sports for example, I know lots of black people who didnt watch F1 or Tennis until there were black people in the sport. Once there was a black person in the sport, who did they support, the black person. Suddenly they are major F1 fans.

If they were F1 fans why did they need a black person to be in the sport before they would support or follow it.

I have worked with black colleagues who would not live in a certain area, because its too white. They are not being racist as such, but clearly they discriminate to some degree based on skin colour or ethnicity.

Looking at this issue from a purely dollars and cents perspective the entitlement system is tenuous and headed for collapse.  Immigration wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't a bulky welfare system. Add birthright citizenship and problem intensifies. Any one who couldn't make it would either move to another part of the country or leave all together.
