The democrats and government bureaucrats want that. The Republicans don't want that. Republicans want people to stand on their own two feet and fend for themselves.

That may be true but Im convinced that the two party system is only a diversion meant to divide people. I mean that I think there are members of society who truly believe in their party and its political/social agenda but on the grand scale the part is less about the people and more about preservation of power and money.
