I'm trying to get bigger muscles. But the last set of squats I couldn't do as many reps as the other set. Should I not to more sets after doing as many as I could already in a set with same weight?

As long as you go to failure , you'll get some muscle growth benefit.
Why the ultra high reps?

Because I like it for myriads of reasons.

( and because I only have some dumbbells and some backpack weights at home )
