Don't like but don't hate either. I prefer bent over barbell rows Dorian style.

I have always found this type of T-Bar row to be akward. I always preferred the feel of the Olympic bar wedged in a corner for t-bar rows

The two blokes in that pic seem to have been able to build some decent muscle with it. ;D

It's surprisingly solid. Sometimes, I like to do with FatGripz™ on the bar for added brute arm strength.
You use db's on that set up also?

I have, but when I do, I put one of my wife's step aerobics things under the bench to raise the DBs enough to grab.

Often when I swim, fighter jets use my back as an aircraft carrier, but I'm cool with them.

I have made rowing machines with the exact simulation of a bar in the corner and still the muscleheads complain. Few know how to do the exercise

correctly. You have to put your feet forward and not stand up with the bar.

I also made an apparatus with an Olympic bar with one end secured and a nice handle near the weights. This is for muscleheads that don't

like the machine. I swear most bodybuilders are sheep. They literally believe free weights are better so don't want to be seen using any machines

except the obvious lat pulldowns, etc.

Even if someone made a perfect machine with heaps of adjustments some dude would come along and put a block of wood under one end!

Many use the Ironing Board to do barbell rowing.

Thanks. A very popular bench. We need a bar like the one earlier in the thread that has a bend in the middle. The lads always hit the bottom of the bench with the bar.

Of course you can use dumbbells with the Ironing Board.

Below is my lever rowing machine. I have made several versions and this was my latest. Not used much by the heads.

Hi Donny. I have been designing and building our gym equipment since 1975. I had a factory since 1981. So I fashioned most of our equipment and all or our

free weight equipment. The lads are fussy so I usually have to build a few versions before they are happy. I also build safety into the equipment. For example,

you can't drop a bar on your face while using any of our barbell benches. Bench press, incline, decline and press behind the neck. The decline and incline safety

supports are unique. Well, I haven't seen them on other equipment.

T-Bar rows of any type have always been my favorite for making the Lats thick. Have used every one you could think of over the years. Also love the Hammer Strength Upright row.
