As I said... he had one very good week.

Against the worst players he could get on opposition.

I can think of MANY more that shouldn't be in the NFL besides Tebow. His preseason was far from bad. He had a good preseason. Better than most fighting for a third string position. Barkley is one just for starters.

Who they traded away anyway.

So basically, what we are saying is that Tebow should be still there because he's not as bad as the other guy they let go?

That makes no sense.

Chip Kelly doesn't think he can do the job for him... end of story.

If Tebow did so well, then I'm sure another team will pick him up.

Which backup QB should be cut to pickup Tebow? Since he's better than some of them out there.

And that's what I said in a previous post. If Kelly doesn't want him Tebow has a nice highlight reel from this preseason. Barkley got traded to Arizona, it would be nice if someone picked up Tebow.

What?? Barkley throws multiple INT's in one game almost every time he's in. Forgot which game it was last season but he threw four INT's in like one qtr.

barkley sucks too.  i'm not defending him.  he's also a dumpster fire.  But Barkley is about a 64% career passer.  Tebow is 47.8%.   That's a HUGE difference.

Chip Kelly is probably out on his ass at end of this season, and next for sure.  he NEEDS to win.  If tebow gave him the best chance, then tebow would have made the team.

Did you actually watch that last preseason game?  Tebow throwing into triple coverage at goal line (resulting in an INT) when he could have run it or hit a wide open man.  He just can't read the field fast enough.  He forces his 1st pass, or runs.  He doesn't have that crazy quick mind to see the 2nd and 3rd option.

Good dude.  But we're not all rocket scientists.  He lacks the mental quickness of Brady or manning, and the accuracy too.

game 4 against scrubs.   The actual NFL players are resting these games.

tebow is an awesome story, but at this point, we're arguing about whether his 48% is as good as Barkley's 64% completion rates.  They're both bubble players, barely good enough to make 3rd string as a wildcat scrub chosen to take hits if the other 2 guys get hurt.
