Are there any controlled, clinical trials for any of the OTC supplements that bodybuilders take to actually build muscle?

These guys are just experimenting and using their bodies as the proverbial guinea pigs.

In my 11 years in the supplement business the clinical studies are few and far between.  The ones that are conducted at universities are probably very skewed by the participants being on juice and not saying so.

I think just good protein powders and creatine have decent studies. And of course every day supplements like CoQ-10, Vit D, E, C etc.

I like Rich but I didn't realise he was going to pump out a 30 minute vid every single day of his transformation - surely he can't keep that up!  I'm already over an hour of profanity laced intensity behind dammit!

And going back to supplements/episode 1 - for someone who preaches that supplements are mostly unnecessary, did you notice how many containers he had filling up his kitchen?
