This proves absolutely nothing. Posting a bunch of guys in suits and comparing them to today's guys is dumb.

A Scottish or Viking warrior would probably think that guys in the 1940's with their suits and top hats were lame and unmanly. Every generation before thinks they were better, more manly, etc.
