It was either sacrifice his chest or die, since he was given five hours to live and they needed to do surgery due to a torn trachea.

They had to cut through his ribs and lung to repair the tear on poor Rechsteiner.

The process of draining fluid from his lungs took two weeks!

I can't look at it closely, shit is insane.

I don't understand why lou quit after the 75 O. So he was doing the hulk, why is that such a detriment? It was his role to be big. WTF. He stood a legitimate shot in the late 70s early 80s.
