About 99% raised as catholic. African imigrants from Angola and Mozambique have also a catholic background.
Portuguese leave their country because job opportunites are non existent. If you are a hard worker you most likely will not get rich from that; you'll need to be a crook, a con-man, or a polititian to win in Portugal.
