Cormier will break his will by ground and pound or submission.

Cormier's standup is way too crisp. His wrestling/ground game is too much for Lewis.

Lewis has a chance by way of landing a big right hand, but if not (and most likely not), Cormier ends it whenever he wants.

I think that the Black Beast will land that big right hand. That will be a major upset

safe fight for Cormier and the UFC keeps him in wraps for Cormier Jones 3 which will be his big pay day, Rematching Stipe too risky that fight can be marketed as the biggest in UFC ever as long as Cormier and Jones win their next fights. Jones fighting Gustafson straight up is a big ask but he's shown before the only person who can beat jon jones is jon jones

If I wanted to watch two fat black guys hug and sweat all over each other for 25 minutes, I'd rent a Wiggs/Goodrum sex tape.

At 251, DC looks really sloppy. That is 46LB heavier than when he fought at LHW

“Brad Shepard reports that Brock Lesnar will not be attending the UFC 230 event now because the New York State Athletic Commission won’t let it take place. This is a safeguard they’re putting up so another McGregor/Khabib brawl doesn’t take place — this time in the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden.

Shepard went on to clarify that Lesnar was originally scheduled to do a run-in during the UFC 230 event and get into a confrontation with Daniel Cormier once again. However, the New York State Athletic Commission said no because they didn’t want it to escalate into another incident like Conor McGregor and Khabib did.“

Honestly, I felt that DC v Lewis was a garbage fight, a fill-in of sorts for the UFC to get more PPV buys. Lewis is an entertainer and certainly can brawl and smoke guys with his big right hands, but his standup is not sharp enough and his wrestling is abysmal. This was an easy payday for both DC & Lewis.

I think DC has one fight left and it's Jones v DC III. The Lesnar fight would just be a fun and highly lucrative fight. As a WWe fan, DC & his kids would love to see him take on Lesnar. I'm also sure that his bank account and wife would benefit greatly from that fight, but then there's a matter of pride. DC is too prideful to walk away without trying to avenge his 2 prior losses to Jones.

I think DC probably has made very good to great money at this point (millions in the bank) and has many good deals & sponsorships in place (Fox commentary, ambassador to the sport etc). He should take on Jones one last time, win or lose retire afterwards. I'd pay to watch that well before I pay to watch him and Lesnar play grabass in the middle of the octagon.

On another note, Weidman had a excellent showing up to the middle of the third round against Jacare. Weidman's standup finally looked crisp, the way a season fighter should look and his speed was certainly a step above Jacare's. That said, the heart and will to survive was present in Jacare. I think Jacare was surprised to see Weidman go down the way he did. I doubt he expected it. I believe it was probably a culmination of various shots to the head that made him go to sleep. That right hand was NOT flush as Jon Anik was suggesting. It did not land straight on starget. He scrapped Chris' left temple with enough force on impact that it flat-lined him.

Good for Jacare on the win, but I just don't see him ever becoming champ. I don't think he can get past Whitaker, Romero, Rockhold and now Adesanya. I think Jacare will go the Junior Dos Santos route and become the middleweight gatekeeper. His head will slowly become the punching bag to the up and coming middleweight's hoping to crack the top 5.

Weidman, I think, should really just call it a day. He's been beaten by Rockhold, Mousasi, Romero and now Jacare. Beating Gastelum really didn't do him the kind of justice it needed, as Gastelum is a freak at Middleweight with his short welterweight frame. I think Weidman should consider commentary, commercial opportunities and possibly expanding his MMA gym brand to open up a few more locations.

Oh and I'm now totally keeping my eye on Adesanya. He moves like a hybrid between Jon Jones & Anderson Silva. Literally looks as if Jones & Silva donated their sperm to create him, or maybe they didn't donate, but instead put the work in.
