No doubt! That’s some insane style of training, there’s a handful of guys that squatted 500 for 12-15 reps I witnessed and that’s incredible
I train at destination Dallas so I regularly see a lot of strong guys, kuclo is a regular who trains heavy and Josh Bryant from jailhouse crew is here at times a long with many of the powerlifters
All 400+ benchers
I agree that its the training methods that some of us put to use. I tried "Dinosaur Training" about 15 years or so ago, and in some ways it worked great. But damn! Sometimes I just couldn't handle it and my joints would ache from thick bar training. I occasionally use some of Brooks' methods now and then and was pleased to read that he too was an advocate for JC Hise.
For me to get stronger and bigger, I have to consume a LOT of calories. I mean a LOT. As in several thousand a day. I would drink quarts of chocolate milk and/or kefir along with a dozen or more eggs a day. I would go to the egg ranch once a week and buy up 18 or 24 dozen eggs. I worked as a laborer and would burn through calories with ease. I even drank whipping cream for the calories. I had to as I did manual labor all day. Like Jethro Bodine, I was strong as an ox and twice as smart! LOL!
