I imagine there are a bunch of people who are stronger than Ronnie on certain things,I train with a guy who is juiced up and looks amazing but I’m a lot stronger. You never know.

For sure

I was using Ronnie for example cause he’s known for his strength and one of the strongest pros ever

I doubt anyone on this forum is stronger though

There prob are getbiggers that could flat bench 200 pound dumbbells for 12 and deadlift 800+ for a double  ;D

Squatting 535 for 20 reps, you are in the 1 percentile

I believe I never even seen Ronnie do it, he’s usually in the 4-6 rep range when going extremely heavy and I’ve seen him front squat 5 plates for reps

That is tom platz  shit - there iis a video where he does some crazy high rep sqauts - prolly around those numbers.

No doubt! That’s some insane style of training, there’s a handful of guys that squatted 500 for 12-15 reps I witnessed and that’s incredible

I train at destination Dallas so I regularly see a lot of strong guys, kuclo is a regular who trains heavy and Josh Bryant from jailhouse crew is here at times a long with many of the powerlifters

All 400+ benchers

I agree that its the training methods that some of us put to use.  I tried "Dinosaur Training" about 15 years or so ago, and in some ways it worked great. But damn!  Sometimes I just couldn't handle it and my joints would ache from thick bar training.  I occasionally use some of Brooks' methods now and then and was pleased to read that he too was an advocate for JC Hise.

For me to get stronger and bigger, I have to consume a LOT of calories.  I mean a LOT.  As in several thousand a day.   I would drink quarts of chocolate milk and/or kefir along with a dozen or more eggs a day.  I would go to the egg ranch once a week and buy up 18 or 24 dozen eggs. I worked as a laborer and would burn through calories with ease.  I even drank whipping cream for the calories.  I had to as I did manual labor all day.  Like Jethro Bodine, I was strong as an ox and twice as smart! LOL!

No, I never did.  I asked a couple of folks that are genuine trainers what they thought and both guesstimated 700 lbs.   I agree about the influence of individual mechanics or traits affecting us and our training.  I just could not bench.  I even tried 20 rep bench presses and it never really worked the same for me other than if I could do something 20 reps I could usually do 100 lbs more in a single. That's how I got to a 350 max bench press but I could not go any further on that exercise.  ;D  Too wimpy I guess.

I will say I was lucky with my response to drinking milk.  I never had any problems with it.  Dumb luck, huh?  ;D

While not on par to your squatting, a 350lb bench is still very strong. I've been to many gyms including some hardcore ones and have rarely see anyone pushing three plates and over. I stopped making much progress on the bench soon after I went over around 110kg (around 240lbs). :(

I don't even do the exercise anymore.
