yes I do

in person - personal trainer so not an online coach -

he was a super heavyweight NPC open bber (old school guy)

I trained with him in the flesh 5 days a week (an hour) posed on saturday for 30 minutes - it was around $550 a month - which was a bargain

he did train 2 other people at the same time -

when i start my prep again I will train with him again -so 5 months will be around $2500-$3000 total - totally justified - plus I enjoy his company too. fun to be around.

good video - online coaches are scams

I said in the other thread it seemed like you were doing well for yourself, and seemed to have a balanced life in regards to career and bbing....this confirms that!

I would never spend that much to do an amateur show (unless it's a pro qualifier, and thought I could win), but to each their own.  If you got the money, it's no one's business but your own what you do with it.

The rates you quoted are actually very reasonable(especially for someone in CA)....well below what I thought it would be for a "guru trainer" type.  How did you place for the show he helped you with last time?

Good luck in your next contest!

You should at least work with a coach you actually see in person at least once a week.

Why even hire a coach if you are going to compete natural like yourself?

Will you prepare the meal in a thong? :D

of course i would - lol  - the total schmoe experience

aint no shame in that - use that coin to pay for my food bill, supplement bill

1. I would cook you a pre workout meal, serve you, set the table
2. pre work out meal - omega 3 eggs, big thick pieces of bacon, bagel, iced coffee - id drive you to the gym
3. go train (you pick the bodypart)
4. sauna
5. post work out shake

:)

from pre-work to post to work out 2-3 hours $400-$500 :)

thank you - i cut out other luxuries to do fitness comps and hire a trainer etc etc. - it is all opportunity cost.  before I wasnt doing shows so i was going out on the town all the time (booze and dating clothes, traveling) - my discretionary income was spent the way most single guys spent it on (that shit + cars) - now i could care less about going to night clubs, or chasing women (which is expensive as shit) I have a simple Jeep with a 5 speed  that is free and clear- I sold my roush mustang convertible.

i do Ok for myself - but I am very practical with my budget and expenses.

I live my life with bucket list and getting my IFBB pro card is on my list - then i will move onto the next bucket list items. i am still young so i will do the bbing thing - do things that are youth orientated when you are sort of young.  south america and asia will always be there, playing chess will always be there etc etc.
