Remove the Report to Mods function for Non Members - Simple.
They don’t wish to contribute & be on Getbig yet wish to criticise & censure
Members that do contribute. Seems very unfair & one sided.
You wish to be part of Getbig & be listened to Then Join & Partake or Criticise as you wish.

Is this a threat? You started this thread. Did you expect there would be no input? Apparently not. Because you seem upset that some people have posted their opinions.

In my opinion, if a guest reports a violation, it should not be given the same weight as when someone like myself who has contributed to this forum for 17 years submits a report. 

Have I ever submitted a report to mods which didn't violate one the Getbig's rules? How many of those reports have you mods taken action on? Just curious.

When I was given the day off for an infraction (which was pretty minor) did I complain? No I did not. I violated a Getbig rule I'd neglected to consider when making the offending post and the one day ban was warranted.

Like I already indicated, I understand moderating can be a lot of work and you all are generous to volunteer your time to do it. If it is or becomes too big a chore, simply retire your position as a mod...don't whine about it.

Holy crap!  Are you that obtuse?  That's the entire point of the thread; hide behind the anonymous guest feature and go to the bottom of the pile, ESPECIALLY when calling for action against members who have been exonerated ad nauseam of any wrongdoing.  You are well aware of how repeated lies and posts taken out of context are twisted and repeated for years.

Unfortunately, that can not be done. There have been times when a legitimate 'guest' reported something valid, such as their copyrighted photo was posted without their permission.  Otherwise, I agree with your other points.
