He's attracted to pre-teens girls and has made numerous disgusting comments about them including keeping child porn to age 12 and older. These were not taken out of context yet you ban people for pointing it out then have the nerve to call them cowards. Disgraceful. And you allow him to call Prime a Pedo and Joswift an immoral scumbag.

Reports to Mod under a REAL account (gimmick or otherwise) have NEVER been revealed publicly.  Keep reporting under the guest feature and continue to be ignored.   The trash bin is only one click.

Not always.  Sometimes reports are flat out ridiculous or just beating a dead horse.   Sometimes it depends which mod sees it first as to what happens.  Sometimes it's taken to the Mod board for discussion.

This is a reasonable and respectful request.  Identify yourself within the anonymous guest feature and I will personally, temporarily, unlock your account FOR THE PURPOSE of sending a PM to me or another mod (not posting), which WILL be shared on the Mod board for discussion.

Giving the violator a warning is fine, but the post should be taken down. Your comment 'beating a dead horse' seems like you are saying no matter how many times a poster goes against Getbig protocol, depending on who it is, we mods will continue to do nothing. This sends this message; stop reporting this person. No matter how great or repetitious their offense, we do not intend to take any action to correct this. Begs the question, why have moderators at all?

Thanks to Ron and the mods for keeping this place running all these years. You guys have spent money and time doing so. Since Getbig is always there, it's easy to forget what keeps it in existence. Just call 'em like you see 'em. No one can reasonably expect complete infallibility so if you ever make a mistake just say hey you get what you pay for.

Anon: just for the sake of argument, lets say you're totally right about something and the other person was wrong. You have to let it slide. If you obsess about every minor injustice then that's all you're going to get to do. It's unlikely that's your highest aspiration. If you don't let things go they're gonna own you. Whining or merely responding? Princess L opened herself up for feed back on how Getbig is moderated.

I do a fair amount of volunteering. Regardless that it is not paid work, there are expectations and obligations to meet. If the job is more than bargained for, one can always resign.

IF we took the requested action on every report to mod without proper context or investigation, YOU would have been permanently banned a long time ago.

In my opinion, if a guest reports a violation, it should not be given the same weight as when someone like myself who has contributed to this forum for 17 years submits a report. 

Have I ever submitted a report to mods which didn't violate one the Getbig's rules? How many of those reports have you mods taken action on? Just curious.

When I was given the day off for an infraction (which was pretty minor) did I complain? No I did not. I violated a Getbig rule I'd neglected to consider when making the offending post and the one day ban was warranted.

Like I already indicated, I understand moderating can be a lot of work and you all are generous to volunteer your time to do it. If it is or becomes too big a chore, simply retire your position as a mod...don't whine about it.
