I don't think Max has lost anything, he's as good as he's ever been, it's just that better fighters have entered the picture.
Everyone loses eventually, even Mike Tyson. That's why it's good to not get too cocky when you're on top and Max has always handled himself in a classy way. The Hawaiin fighters are mostly a classy bunch and don't talk a bunch of crap.

Last week I read this interesting {to me} article on how UFC fighters can drop as much as 20 lbs in a short amount of time and gain most of it back in 24 hrs. This author did it under the guidance of St. Pierres doctor.
