If I for example, broke it down to 45/40/15 I’m going to retain some lean tissue. Regardless of what your deficit is and let’s say no TRT you’re still lose some lean tissue
Anybody would lose weight on 1,500 calories a day.

I’m using voice to text right now while sitting at a stoplight but Dennis James the other day posted on Instagram saying that he was 235 and you look phenomenal by the way and he was trying to get down to 220 but said he was stuck and couldn’t get down I think he said he was doing two hours of cardio a day and cutting his carbs that doesn’t make a big difference if you’re not in a calorie deficit he is not in a calorie deficit regardless he was taking in too many calories that’s the bottom line and that’s why he can’t get down to 220

Always found 200 mg of test a wk and 2 IU of gh is really all you need to have a pretty lean year round physique. Consistent training and decent diet on top of that, that’s obvious. You can even take out the gh and just test a lone

It's more than the caloric cost during the exercise; it's the metabolic changes.  If you want to just talk about calories then if you walk 4 miles a day it's approximately 400 calories. 400 times six days a week is 2400 calories you didn't burn before.  Times 4 weeks is 9600 calories.  Since walking use fat for fuel and a little glycogen you would be lot leaner at the end of the month. Taking two pounds plus of pure fat off an somewhat lean natural bodybuilder in a month is huge.

I'm back to running but when I walked a lot due to injuries the fat melted off. Combine that with lifting and it's a great combination. Wow, one poorly constructed hypothesis that was published by the NY Times is getting repeated ad nauseam as if it's factual.

I train on an empty stomach each morning and walk for an hour or 6km straight after, basically two plus hours of training on an empty stomach with only some pre workout to help mobilise fat for energy. Basically fasting, i then Try to eat meat and vegetables rest of the day, no sugar and starch only where you need it for energy. I wouldn't do it trying to get bigger when i was younger, but now its great start to the day at 4.30am. Don't do it as a diet do it as a constant lifestyle, just use food as the non constant, eat more in winter, less in summer but keep the regime going, weight might go up but keeps bopdyfat in check.

I decided before my first grandchild to drop to my lowest weight since my late teens. I found interval training on the elliptical to be the most efficient way. Also helped to push my BP and resting heart rate very low.

Since I've gotten older my appetite has dropped so diet was not an issue.


Have two grandsons now. 🙏🏻

There aren't any significant metabolic changes with walking- you are too far below threshold pulse to do anything. And unless you control your diet for calorie intake, you will lose nothing. Ever see those fat "mall walkers" lol - they eat it all back.

I have cycled high intensity for years. Average week is 6 hours minimum. In season more like 10 plus. If you eat based on hunger you will not lose an ounce. Many of my friends are professional cyclists who ride far more than me- and they all say the same thing- you have to limit calories if you want to lose weight. There is no magic exercise.

like someone said, water fasting is the quickest way, and after the first couple of weeks, the easiest.Your body has food literally stuck to it, use it before you take it externally.
