This is exactly right. It wouldn't surprise me if a new rapid-response force formed under a different name with the same guys who resigned this one, mainly to protest officer Corey Budworth being charged by a Multnomah County grand jury with one count of fourth-degree assault, which is a misdemeanor. Budworth, 40, was placed on paid administrative leave last Tuesday.

The police union characterized the prosecution as politically driven and said Budworth’s baton strike to a woman’s head was “accidental,” not criminal.

Presumably something like that was the cause, if not specifically that.

A lot of police officers are growing tired of the social pressure of essentially not being allowed to defend themselves - and rightfully so. You have BLM protesters rioting over the death of Black men who opened fire on the police - as was the case recently in Minnesota.

It's completely ridiculous.

that's exactly what the dems are after
their goal is a federal police force, this plays into their hands perfectly

in the end all power must be centralised, where have we seen this before ...

Yep- you are on point Arthur. This is right out of the Hitler playbook

I am having trouble figuring out what you are trying to say here. This is a video of the actual incident. Draw whatever conclusions you want from it.

What we don't see is what led up to that moment. We just see the cop chasing after the woman, knocking her down and the pushing something, either his hands or his baton into her face which flattens her.

Here is one account of the event. There are probably others.
