i hear that.  there's just some parts (well, my back "width") that i'd like to be a little better.  plus my tits are as proportional on my body as lee priest's are on his.

anyone got anything nice to say about german volume training?

You do NOT want to do GVT if you haven't trained in 3 months, I only do it with my pro athletes during the first periodization after a full season. I would tell you my training techniques.........but then I would have to kill you..........my athletes worship me ;D!!

Bodybuilders would NEVER be able to keep up with the training of a real athlete!

Get enough calories, protein and moderate carbs.
For back width definately throw in the pull ups.  Did wonders for my back a few years after I started training and was stuck.  It made me really grow.
