Paganism? (Although there is a learning thread for islam, which is a pagan religion)

Catholicism would probably be a good start.

It's from the Scotsman you moron. Not the type of organisation to photoshop images like muslim reporters do in relation to the conflict in lebanon.

Then what it proves is that these guys are a bunch of idiots... though one may have a point that "freedom of expression" was a lame excuse to print those cartoons because they refused to print similar cartoons pertaining to the jews.

You are also a fine example of why freedom of expression can be a bad thing, though it is something we have to live with for the greater good  ;D

I'm thinking of having an "off topic" argument thread where I can move all of you and Nordic Superman's arguments when the thread gets off topic.

"The Learning Thread" hopefully will be a vehicle for us to learn more about different religions and beliefs.  The plan is to feature a certain religion/belief system until the thread starts to dry up.  Then another will be chosen (suggestions are welcome).

I would like people of different religion/beliefs to help us learn about them by answering our questions.

Please be respectful on this thread, especially to our educator.

Any disrespectful post is going to have to be modified or deleted.  Sorry, but the person educating us needs to feel comfortable here.

Also, let's please try to limit our questions to one or two per post.  It'll be easier to answer them that way.

Muhammad molested a 9 year old girl - FACT, he murderered and sanctioned the murder of countless peoples, and was a militant.

But I can't say this is a thread about islam because muslims might find it offencive, EVEN THO IT IS TRUE?

Are people not entitled to learn the full truth instead of only the truth one group of people wishes them to learn?

No, of course you can say all that....you have stuff to back it up....but when you guys rehash the same stuff over and over, it gets to the point where people don't care to read comments from either side because we're just assuming it's all the same stuff.

Does that make sense? 

When we've moved onto something else, such as my question about the "rock," you guys get into a "shouting" match again.

I just would like to have some questions actually answered so I can learn stuff.
